The Higher Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management combines elements of both specialised and advanced study, merging the Specialist and Advanced Diploma levels. This program aims to provide students with a comprehensive education in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, blending practical skills with theoretical knowledge. Integral to the educational journey in this programme is the 6-months Industry Attachment (IA), commonly known as on-the-job training (OJT). IA offers students invaluable real-world exposure to the complexities and demands of the event management industry, illuminating their career prospects.
Graduate of this Advanced Diploma may progress to a higher-level qualification in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Event management. The graduates also may pursue a career in the logistics and supply chain management sectors and related sectors in Singapore and overseas. E.g., Logistic Planner, Supply Chain Executive, Logistics and Event Planner, etc.
Academic Requirement:
• Obtained at least 2 GCE A-Level passes, including Mathematics and *English; OR
• Obtained International Baccalaureate Diploma (at least 24 points) or other equivalent pre-university certifications; OR
• Completion of GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Logistics and Supply Chain Management)/ GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Business Management)/ GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Event Management)/ GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Events, Hospitality and Tourism Management) or equivalent; OR
• NUS High School Diploma; OR
• Polytechnic Diploma (e.g. Diploma in Accounting/ Business/ Management/ Logistics and Supply Chain Management/I.T./ Computing/ Hospitality/ Psychology); OR
• Other recognised PEI qualification in a related discipline that is assessed to be comparable in standard to a Polytechnic Diploma or IB Diploma; OR
• Matured student: At least 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experience will be considered.
