This programme is designed to introduce students to the business world in general with relation to the hospitality and resort industry. As a student, you will have good overview of the industry and have sound business foundation skills. Knowledge gain will prepare students for entry level positions in the industry.

- Prepare students who are interested in entry level positions in the hospitality and resort industry.
- The different parts of a resort, such as the Rooms, Food and Beverage, Spa, Golf Courses, Retail stores, Casino, Activities and Attractions.
- Introducing students to the world of conventions, meetings, & expositions and the many career opportunities available due to the tremendous growth in these service sectors over the past 20 years.
- Sales and Marketing for a Resort.
- The understanding of demand and supply through the principles of Economics covering both micro- and macro-economic theory.
- Demonstration of key skills in Mathematics, Information Technology, Research and Independent Learning.
Throughout the course, candidate’s ability to learn will be developed through teaching and learning approaches that encourage creative thinking and problem-solving skills, and through the execution of industry-based projects and assignments.
