The Specialist Diploma program combines studies in safety, health, engineering and business. This ideal combination prepares the student to understand the potential safety and health hazards of the work environment, as well as the human relations involved in improving the workplace environment.

Specialist Diploma in Safety and Risk Management program provide the knowledge and leadership necessary to develop programs in industry that will assist in conserving life, health and property; improve productivity by implementing loss-control programs in consultation with company and labour officials; identify health and safety hazards in the work environment and advise corrective action.

The occupational health and safety professional plays a major role in the development and application of accident investigations, risk assessments, loss prevention, and safety training programs for workers. To achieve these career objectives, we expect applicants to be mature, objective persons who possess the ability to communicate decisions and goals in a tactful and professional manner.

Assessment	:	Assignment 60% + Written Examination 40%
Fees	:	Full time : S$7,000 Registration : S$200 (non refundable) Payment mode : 2 payment (Every 5 mths) Part time : S$5,000 Registration : S$100 (non refundable) Payment Mode : 2 / 3 or 12 installment plan (only applicable to the Part Time students) 2 Installment Plan – Every 6 mths from the SOC, that is $2550.00 3 Installment Plan – Every 4 mths from the SOC, that is $1700.00 12 Installment Plan – Mthly will be $425.00 Other fees: 100% Bank loan available from our local banks. Graduation	:	In Singapore or in UTM (Malaysia)
Entry requirements	:	ITE, GCE 'N', 'O' and 'A' levels or Poly Diploma from other fields. Professional Certificate from any recognized institutions. Matured students, who have obtained other qualification, will be considered on an individual basis. Exceptions to the above will be assessed on a case by case basis by the Academic and Exam Board.
