The course produces qualified facilities supervisors of the quality required by the Singapore, Malaysia and global FM industry, both in terms of their immediate ability to perform and their longer-term strategic potential. The course modules cater for the wide-ranging needs of facilities managers from fulfilling the operational functions of asset maintenance management to supporting the development of strategic facilities management for business advantage.
The Diploma is jointly awarded by Global School of Technology & Management Pte Ltd with the Singapore Institute of Building (www.sib.com.sg). It is recognised by the Building & Construction Authority (BCA) as a qualification for the Technical Controller for General Builder Class 2 under the new Licensing of Builders Act.. Graduates of the Diploma will be allowed to proceed to study the BSc degree of Facilities Management awarded by the Heriot Watt University ( with an exemption of 2 years).
