Diploma in Business Management

The course curriculum consists of relevant subjects in the study area of Business Management. Suitable subjects are designed to suit the practice and employability of the graduates.

1. Aims & Objectives:

The course aims to build, within the students, the ability to handle the complex general business and managerial issues in today's rapidly changing environment which demands up-to-date knowledge and integrated skills. The course promotes progressive learning and develops transferable skills. Emphasis is placed on equipping the students with the necessary communication, analytical and problem solving skills for effective careers in Business and Management.

The Diploma Programmes aim to produce graduates who can communicate, analyze and handle general management effectively in organizations. Students will be required to study a number of quantitative and quantitative subjects, and develop a range of basic skills required for successful careers in a chosen area. Graduates from the Diploma is equivalent to Year 1 study of the Universityes.

2. Enter Requirement

Partial GCE 'A' levels OR

Minimum 5 GCE 'O' level credits including English (as first language or an equivalent recognized qualification) with minimum three (3) of working experiences.

Applicants with diplomas from recognized polytechnics or an equivalent recognized qualification would be considered for exemption of up to two years.
